I can definitely NOT recommend Dell Inspiron 6400 (sold in some
countries as 15xx something, don't remember it correctly). It has VT
enabled CIU, but that feature isn't accessible. It was, in my test, also
not possible to enable this feature somewhere in the BIOS like it seems
the case for other dell machines, and it had the newest BIOS.
Also, Dell seems to try everything to keep you from giving the machine
back by giving you incompetent service personnel in the call centre,
juntil the 2 weeks of give back guaranty you have here in germany are
over. Their service is the worst I've ever seen.
So, the cheap price for a Dell isn't worth the hassle.
I am also going for a t60 thinkpad.
Henning
