[Xen-users] notification of migration
Hello Xen users
Can you think of any means by which a guest domain (and its applications)
could tell that a migration took place, ie. that it is actually running on a
different
computer? Since it is necessary to suspend a domain at least for a while at
some stage of a migration, it would be enough to know that a domain has just
been resumed.
If this was possible, one could make the guest OS alter its network
configuration and hence allow for migration beyond local network.
Thank you for any comments, ideas
