Hi Andreas,
udevmonitor does not show any event happening, so I guess
there are none. is some special kernel option needed? CONFIG_KOBJECTS_UEVENT does no longer exist in linux kernel, so I
guess it is compiled in always.
I had problems with hotplug/udev either.
One reason was that the file xen-backendagent.rules was not copied to /etc/udev/rules.d.
The installation script/Makefile didn't copied it. So just copy it manually.
A second reason was the main network interface had the name "eth1", but the XEN scripts in /etc/xen/scripts are bound to "eth0".
