Re: [Xen-users] Re: talking about usb, cdrom, cpu and vcpu

can i manage usb with domUs? if yes how?

You'll be able to dedicate an entire USB controller to a domain using PCI device assignment in 3.0.2...

USB virtualisation will appear some time in the future.

how can i manage cdrom? who and how manage who can access it? dom0?

You can give guests access to it if you want, as a normal virtual block device. But it's not a particularly convenient way to work - for instance, they won't see it as a normal CD-ROM, won't be able to eject it, won't be able to drive a writable CD-ROM device...

(nb. VMX guests have less limitations regarding CD-ROM access)

HTH,
Mark
