[Xen-users] Live Migration and CoW
Hello there,
I haven't used the LiveCD 3.0 yet, but I'm downloading it in order to give
this feature a try: I've been told that it's only possible to do Live
Migration if both hosts (dom0) can 'see' the disks of the VM (by NFS, for
example).
Then I heard that the Xen shipped with the LiveCD can migrate CoW
filesystems: I can create a base readonly image, which every dom0 will host
a copy, and then migrate the VMs without the need for sharing it's CoW
device or swap area through NFS. Is that correct?
If so, what are my options for CoW systems without the LiveCD
(LVM/Union/...) ???
Thanks
