Hi,

I'm having problem in starting few services in DomU after compiling the xen-unstable source code on FC4. The domain0 starts fine and the network seems to be setup properly (at least I can do ping/ssh-ing to and from the machine). Domain 0 also have all the necessary bridge-setup in place (following execution of the scripts network-bridge and vif-bridge).

Now about one of the problems I'm facing. When DomU boots up, messsages say,
"Networking not configured - exiting"

ifconfig -a shows existence of both "eth0" and "lo". Restarting network brings "lo" up, but no "eth0". If I try to do "ifup eth0", then it says,

/sbin/ifup: configuration for eth0 not found.
Usage: ifup <device name>

I checked with "lsmod" command and no modules were listed. I checked from the fedora+xen quickstart page (http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraXenQuickstart), which said that I needed to install the modules in the guest domain. Since, I'm not using any rpm to install (which that page suggests), how these modules can be intalled on guest domain? May that solve my problem eth0 problem, too?

Any idea/suggestions?

Thanks,
Amitayu
