Right, I don't think it is at all related to the xen save error.  I was just 
reporting a separate issue with live migration after the comment had been made 
that migration had gone through combat :-)

yes - though this doesn't seem to be the same error; in particular 
the "[ERR] XFRD> Error adding op field" is the bit I was referring to 
never having seen before...
