 I was looking to start an xserver on
it so that I could display it on tty8 or tty9, for example.  I guess
I could go into my domU's console (or through ssh) and export DISPLAY to
my dom0.  That would probably be a workaround.  But It would
be nice to change tty's to 8 and be on one domU, tty9 for a different domU,
etc..

 What are you actually aiming to do?  Give a real
physical monitor to the domU  
(i.e. dual head with a different head for each domain?) or just get a  
graphical interface to the domU is a window in dom0?
