The changes I pushed yesterday to begin our merge makes the Xen GDB stub 
optional (as it is in x86). To enable GDB, you must build with 
"crash_debug=y".

If you don't enable GDB, a 0x700 exception (and a variety of other exceptions 
that currently jump to 0x700) will dump registers and then panic.
