Hi all,

I asked this question in the xen users list but didn't get a reply.
So I though I'd ask it here as vga passthrough appears to be still in development.

What is the current state of vga passthrough?
Do you still have to apply patches to make it work?
Is it possible to passthrough a secondary graphics card?

I am planning on building a home computer with xen support. I am not building it for any purpose, other than a hobby build. I have known of xen for a few years but decided it wasn't worth using until IOMMU was available on the desktop.

I am planning on buying the following h/w.
ASUS crosshair iv Formula
AMD Phenom II X6 2.80GHz
Secondary graphics card: OcUK Valu nVidia GeForce 460

Has anyone tried to passthrough this graphics card? (Primary or secondary)
How successful was it?

Is there anything I need to know, or is there any advice before I go out and buy this h/w?

Cheers
Lee
