Remove "quiet" and "splash" options from the vmlinuz line.
Add "nomodeset" option to the vmlinuz line.

And for the serial console:
add "earlyprintk=xen console=hvc0" to the vmlinuz line and you'll get the 
serial log through Xen.

That's why you need to use serial console and capture the kernel
boot messages so we can see WHY it hangs/fails.
