Allocating a 4GB or higher size disk image on a 32bit version of xen-unstable (built from source pulled from repo 18/06/2010) causes guests to see it as a 4GB disk (a problem for Windows7, which requires 5.6GB for an installation)

 

Using the file:/ directive applied a 4GB limit on the virtual disk size

When I used a Losetup and phy: to point to the file, the limit wasn’t there
