[Xen-devel] bnx2 device exposed to domU using pciback permissive mode no
Hi xen-devel,
bnx2 ( Broadcom 1 gige Nic card ) was directly exported to the domU virtual server using the pciback technique.
Apart from that I had to enable msi=1 for the xen command line and add the following to xend-pci-permissive config file...
cat /etc/xen/xend-pci-permissive.sxp (unconstrained_dev_ids #('0123:4567:89AB:CDEF') ('14e4:164c') )
Prior to the modification of the pci-permissive.sxp file the link used to stay down permanently.
Now with the changes the device is not reporting the correct link speed, nor am i able to ping to the interface.
Does anybody know about how to handle this, is there any other information that i can look at to troubleshoot this issue?
Thanks, Karthik
