Re: [Xen-devel] Question about Xen 3.2 HVM's not loading

Yes we are using the new tools. The new qemu are in /usr/lib/xen/bin and the new xend is in /etc/init.d Also when I do a ps -A xend is not in the process list, but an xm list does seem to show domain 0 running. Any thoughts on what may be wrong ?
Thanks Sujata

Have you cleared out all old 3.0 tools? For example, you are not accidentally using old qemu-dm, or xend, or anything like that?

We are trying to upgrade to the Xen 3.2 kernel. We managed to boot into the
linux 2.6.18.8-xen kernel. But when we try to load a Windows HVM we get the
following error in the qemu log

I/O request not ready: 0, ptr: 0, port: 0, data: 0, count: 0, size: 0

The VM loads up but it just shows a blank screen. Any ideas why this
might be happening ?

We are running the xen kernel on an Intel Mac Mini. The previous version
of Xen i.e. xen 3.0 works fine, but we would like to get Xen 3.2 working as well.
Any help on this error message would be appreciated.
Thanks
Sujata & Ryan
