This is the split up of a previously submitted patch.

The first one removes explicit moves from the x86-64 hypercall macros.
The second one removes the needless casting of the hypercall result
value.
The third one replaces the casting to long by a mechanism enforcing
extension to at least int, but avoiding needless extension to long where
possible.

As usual, written and tested on 2.6.24 and made apply to the 2.6.18
tree without further testing.
