3.0.3?  Wasn't pvfb merged in the 3.0.4 cycle?  Or do you talk about
what FC6 ships?

As the 3.0.4 frontends use hard-coded 800x600-32 which needs one page
directory only I think it is possible to keep them apart even in case
they don't carry the protocol info ...
