I set the ip address in the ifcfg config file for network interface in the guest domain. The OS I used for domain0 and guest domain are RHEL AS 4.4

Just wondering, did you just specify an ip address somewhere in your
config file, or modify qemu-up.sh?

What guest O.S are you using?
