Thread-topic: VMX status report 12338:452010ddef24
We have tested the latest xen on VT platform with Intel 915/E8500
chipset. Here is the test summary:

Bugs have been fixed:
1>.Failed to create VMX domain and qemu-log says :"xs_read(): uuid get
error" bug has been fixed.

Issues:

1). 64 bits smp Windows VMX domain will crash at the beginning of
booting.
The qemu window disappeared, and qemu process died.

2). Failed to create four VMX domains, several of them complain with the
following messages:
-- "Device 768 (vbd) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not
working"
-- "Device 5632 (vbd) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not
working"
we once met this bug before, but it happens with little chance, but
against c/s 12338, this problem happens each time when creating four VMX
domains.

3).IA32/PAE/IA32E: Linux VMX guest OS fail to boot up normally, and
complains with the one of following info:
-- "BUG: soft lockup detected on CPU#0!"
-- "Kernel BUG at include/asm/spinlock.h:146!"
But, if this VMX guest booting up with kernel parameter "quiet", it can
boot up normally.
