I did that first, the interactive feel was as poor, and that's the
reason I went for the config that was as close to my normal native
config as possible, to try to eliminate driver issues.

BTW: you're not doing anything rash like using an SMP enabled kernel are
you? There's still loads of debugging turned on at the moment.

# CONFIG_SMP is not set
