The XenCD build script (available in subversion) as of 1.0pre02 now
creates a functioning, network-capable ttylinux rootfs from a pristine
ttylinux 4.4 distribution.
It indeed turned out to be simple, as expected. /etc/fstab,
/etc/resolv.conf, /etc/network.conf, /etc/network.d/interface.eth0,
disable hwclock, remove 00.firewall, 40.pppconf, 50.isdn, seems to be
the complete list used in XenCD.
