It ran for about half an hour before crashing with nosmp specified, so I guess 
you can rule out nosmp.

One change I have made at about the same time as I noticed the crashes (i 
think) is adding another network adapter. It isn't actually used yet though. I 
guess I'll take it out if nobody else can reproduce it.

yes it is smp. i should have thought to test it. i'm booting now with nosmp
and will follow up with some results shortly if it crashes, or tomorrow if it
doesn't.


If it is only SMP fault send me the exact configuration (number of
domains, CPU allocation etc.). I will try to reproduce the bug here and
then fix it.
