Last night, I got an email from ftpmaster, about xen 1.2 being accepted into
debian. It will be part of today's mirror pulse.

So, after today, you will just need to point apt at unstable, then do apt-get
install xen(and other various packages).

Source: xen
Maintainer: Adam Heath <doogie@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Standards-Version: 3.6.1
Section: misc
Priority: extra
Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 4), gcc-3.2, python (>= 2.3), zlib1g-dev
Build-Depends-Indep: tetex-bin, transfig, gs-common, dh-kpatches

Package: xen
Architecture: i386
Description: a Virtual Machine Monitor like User-Mode-Linux
 XEN is a Virtual Machine Monitor (VMM) originally developed by the
 Systems Research Group of the University of Cambridge Computer
 Laboratory, as part of the UK-EPSRC funded XenoServers project.
 .
 Xen enables multiple operating system images to execute concurrently
 on the same hardware with very low performance overhead --- much lower
 than commercial offerings for the same x86 platform.

Package: xen-domain0-utils
Architecture: i386
Depends: ${shlibs:Depends}, ${python:Depends}, libxc-python, xen-utils
Description: utilities for the XEN domain0 controller, a Virtual Machine Monitor
 This package contains the set of utilities that domain0 needs to create
 and control other xen instances.
 .
 It should be installed in the bootup domain when running XEN.

Package: xen-utils
Architecture: i386
Depends: ${shlibs:Depends}
Description: utilities for xenolinux, a client to XEN
 This package contains utilities needed by all XEN instances. Currently,
 it only contains xen-mkdevnodes and balloon, the interface to the balloon
 memory driver.

Package: xen-docs
Architecture: all
Description: documentation for XEN, a Virtual Machine Monitor
 This package contains all the large documentation files for XEN. This
 includes a description interface(both the api, and a nice explanation of
 how XEN works). It also contains the VBD and Xeno howtos.

Package: libxc1.2
Architecture: i386
Depends: ${shlibs:Depends}
Description: control library for XEN, a Virtual Machine Monitor
 Library to control the XEN microkernel. Contains functions for creating,
 starting, stopping, saving, virtual instances.

Package: libxc-dev
Architecture: i386
Depends: libxc1.2
Description: development files for the control library for XEN
 Users wishing to develop their own tools for interfaces to the underlying
 XEN kernel should install this package.

Package: libxc-python
Architecture: i386
Depends: ${shlibs:Depends}, ${python:Depends}
Description: python wrapper around libxc, the control library for XEN
 This python library wraps the C library, and provides a nice OO interface
 to the low-level system calls. It also provides some higher-level config
 file parsing.

Package: kernel-patch-xen
Architecture: all
Depends: ${kpatch:Depends}
Description: patch to linux for the XEN sub-arch
 This kernel patch modifies linux, so that it can run inside XEN, a
 Virtual Machine Monitor.

Package: kernel-image-2.4.25-xeno-p2
Architecture: i386
Description: a port of linux to the XEN Virtual Machine Monitor
 This package contains xenolinux: linux ported to run underneath the XEN
 Virtual Machine Monitor. Because it's not a standard kernel-package
 managed image, it does not install into /boot.

Package: kernel-image-2.4.25-xeno-p2-modules
Architecture: i386
Description: modules for the linux port to the XEN Virtual Machine Monitor
 This package contains the runtime loadable modules for the xenolinux
 kernel.
 .
 This package is not a managed by kernel-package, so it does not install
 into /lib/modules.

Package: kernel-patch-nfs-swap
Architecture: all
Depends: ${kpatch:Depends}
Description: patch to linux to enable swapping over nfs
 This kernel patch modifies linux, so that it can run have swapfiles that
 reside in an nfs filesystem. This is useful for machines that boot from
 nfs.
