[Xen-bugs] [Bug 771] New: block-nbd script does not receive nbd argument
http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=771
Summary: block-nbd script does not receive nbd arguments.
Product: Xen
Version: 3.0.2
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Tools
AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: xen@xxxxxxxxxx
Here is the line in the config file :
# grep disk /etc/xen/mailguard3
disk = [ 'nbd:172.17.4.137 20001,sda1,w',
'file:/mnt/mirror/mailguard1/gentoo.swap,sda2,w']
At the begining of the block-nbd script, I added the folowing line in order to
check arguments :
echo "$0 $1 $2 $3" >> /tmp/debug
# xm create mailguard3
Using config file "/etc/xen/mailguard3".
Error: Device 2049 (vbd) could not be connected. Backend device not found.
# cat /tmp/debug
/etc/xen/scripts/block-nbd add
/etc/xen/scripts/block-nbd remove
You can see that the arguments are not given to the script. We should see the
ip address and the port after the add command.
