Just to be clear, there are 2 xend log files. One is the standard logfile that
is specified by the logfile keyword. When debug is on, it also logs additinoal
debug level information to a separate file, /var/log/xend-debug.log.  The name
of the debug file is not a tunable parameter. The name of the default log file
xend.log,
which is a tunable parameter.

Could you check please, if you have the debug file as well?
