thanks, just checking. The key bug was that we transfer the physical device eth0
to peth0 and rename veth0 to eth0, and leave the public IP and MAC to the new
eth0. This requires the mac binding feature to be off.

Note, your mask and bcast are mismatched:
inet addr:10.43.234.101  Bcast:10.255.255.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
