Good day.

Right now I have discussion in ietd maillist about possibility to build following configuration:

DriveA ---- DRBD ----iet - - - - -iscsi-initiator --\
| +multipath --- LVMoISCSI --- blktap(2) --- virtual machine(s)
DriveB----- DRBD-----iet - - - - -iscsi-initiator --/

I hope, you can see XCP part here (iscsi initiator, multipath, lvm and so on). Guys in ietd maillist says that if DRBD will be in primary/primary mode any statefull SCSI command will trash data beyond repair level.

Question is: Is XCP components (LVM, blktap and etc) use any statefull operation like SCSI reservation and task management?

Thanks.
